JAM OF THE WEEK

Great song. This is a 1960's rock standard that it seems like everyone loves to cover. I think it was made most famous by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, but everyone from Cher, Frank Zappa, Joni Mitchell, and even my Jam of the Week artist last week, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have had a crack at this jam. Such a classic story that could be dragged out of any Blues song, but with this bass line that just follows him around. Lee Moses had an absolutely phenomenal voice, and this just my favourite version of this song.
